- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had a wonderful experience at Avalon delivering my son. Each midwife took the time to get to know me while I was pregnant. Kim Kirby was on call when I delivered and she listened, coached and made my husband and I feel incredibly comfortable and supported. After delivery Kim and Lisa, another midwife on call, visited and were so helpful and friendly in making sure I was comfortable and that all my questions were answered. The staff at Avalon is also incredibly helpful, especially with insurance related questions. Whether it be the nursing staff (shout out to Barbara) or the midwives, they followed up immediately with forms and insurance related paperwork.
